About the role:

As an Occupational Therapist Team Lead at Kedleston Group, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will lead a small, but growing OT team working across a residential school, 2 day schools and 2 small children’s homes in the North West (Stockport, Buxton, Bury and Liverpool). The post is currently based at High Peak School, Disley (near Stockport) but will require you to travel to our schools and homes in the North West, as and when required.

About you:

You will be required to maintain a caseload, which will be shared with other OTs, and work in conjunction with other clinicians, education and care staff to ensure a truly cohesive and holistic clinical provision for our young people across the schools and homes. Ideally, you will have worked within an SEMH/ASC school setting or within a CAMHS service and have experience of managing a small staff team. In addition, you will be well organised, able to prioritise and work collaboratively, a good communicator both verbally and in writing and above all genuinely have a passion for working with children. About us:

Kedleston Group offer residential schooling, day schools and children's homes across England. Our schools and homes support children and young people living with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and specific learning difficulties, which affects their learning and ability to do everyday things. Our dedicated autism (ASC) schools work with young people who are high functioning and have associated needs such as mental health problems, attention deficit hyperactive disorder and learning difficulties.
