This week marks the beginning of our Austen Cottage children’s home staff induction training course. The team, headed up by experienced Registered Manager Gabriella Arcidiacono will be taking part in a range of training sessions designed to not only develop skill and knowledge but also bring the group closer together to work effectively and in partnership.
They started the week by completing a murder mystery team building day, which was a great fun way to get everyone well acquainted and ready to get stuck into the more detailed content to come.
Austen Cottage children’s home will be a caring environment where the team provide opportunities for children and young people to achieve to the best of their ability. Using a nurturing and consistent approach children and young people will be supported to address their feelings and emotions in a safe and manageable way.
We hope you have a great induction Austen Cottage and look forward to sharing more about the home as they get ready to welcome in children really soon…
