We support young people with various needs including SEMH, autism (ASC) and associated conditions, mental health needs and anxiety. We understand that we are the start of their journey, and we can help build foundations for the future.

PACE stands for Playful, Accepting, Curious and Empathetic and it focuses on creating a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes well-being and development. It encourages a positive culture across the home for staff as well as children.

We are very excited to announce that we have been named as a finalist in not one, not two, but five prestigious awards! The National Children and Young People Awards celebrate excellence in care for young people and their families, showcase innovation and best practice and pay tribute to those who excel in quality care provision.
Paul Brosnan, our Chief Executive has said: “We are delighted that the achievements of our hard working staff teams have been recognised in this way."
Gillian Miele is the first of our finalists, shortlisted in the Outstanding Contribution Award.
Kimberley Taylor has been shortlisted in the Safeguarding of Children Award.
Tayla O’Brian from our Vernon House Children’s Home has been shortlisted for the Newcomer Award.
Leia Christian from our Dovedale House Children’s Home has been shortlisted for the Support Worker Award.
Wings School Cumbria Care Team have been shortlisted in the Social Care Covid Hero Award.
What a wonderful achievement for those shortlisted. We look forward to finding out who all the winners are at the awards ceremony in October.
