Here at Kedleston, we are committed to ensuring our children and young people achieve their potential and flourish. We know the importance of offering a wide range of real-life experiences such as group holidays and exciting trips out into the community.
Holidays and trips can help our children develop self-confidence, develop independence, support with their social communication skills, offer interactive learning experiences and are also a lot of fun!
This summer, a group from our Dovedale House children’s home went on holiday to North Wales. This beautiful part of the country provided an amazing backdrop for a packed week including a visit to Bounce Below, Snow Tubing, a visit to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Kayaking, a visit to a copper mine, and lots of days at the beach!
Looks fantastic.
