Our High Peak School in Cheshire were delighted to welcome Stockport County FC to the school along with their community trust representatives. The club President Steve Bellis and Coach/former player James Jennings met with pupils and were highly complementary of the outstanding new facilities at High Peak School.

Our youngest pupils were also very excited to meet the club mascot Vernon the bear who joined for the visit. After a tour around the new sports facilities, James Jennings and the community trust team joined a group of pupils for an afternoon of football training.

The community trust aims to support children across Stockport and High Peak amongst other places, by offering sports projects which support pupils physically, socially, and emotionally.

High Peak would also like to extend their congratulations to Stockport County on their recent promotion and look forward to working with them again next year.
