Donagh is an experienced Principal in the SEMH sector having previously led and managed a large residential school and more recently was instrumental in the opening of a new specialist day school in Liverpool.
He places the success of working within this sector as listening to and acting upon the views of young people, staff, parents/carers and placing authorities and has always ensured that young people are offered an education that will best prepare them for the future.
Donagh has additional experience of holding positions as Deputy Head and Head of Residential Services.
Outside of work he is an ordained Deacon within the Archdiocese of Liverpool, allowing him to empathise and understand the needs of families and children.
Donagh is also a Governor in an oversubscribed secondary school and a local primary school in Liverpool.
Mike has a vast array of experience having worked within the residential SEMH sector for many years, joining Wings shortly after opening back in 2003.
He believes that the key to achieving the best outcomes for children is to build and maintain positive relationships with them and their significant others including parents, carers and other professionals.
Working alongside both Education and Care teams, Mike acts as the link between the two in order to ensure that the social, emotional and behavioural needs of the children are catered for.
In addition to this he is the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) lead for the setting which requires him to oversee person centred planning for each child in order to support them to improve the quality of their lives.
Outside the work he enjoys motorcycling, kayaking and caravan holidays near and far with his family.
Conrad joined Wings School in September 2018. He has a vast amount of knowledge and experience working in the Residential SEMH sector for the past 20 plus years, holding Head of Care and Registered Managers Positions with in the Local Area. He is also a Team Teach Tutor and PBS Coach.
Conrad is committed to providing the best possible care for our young people, with an emphasis on building positive relationships, promoting family values and giving young people new experiences and opportunities through inclusion within the community.
He places the success of the young people at Wings, down to the continued commitment from the whole staff team right across the Wings Community and the fact that the staff are always willing to go the extra mile for the young people in our care.
Outside of work, Conrad has a passion for the countryside, he trains Working Gun Dogs as well as having five Gundogs of his own. He is an activate participant along with his own children in various Countryside Pursuits with in the local area.
John is responsible for ensuring that the special educational needs of individual young people are met and that they are able to access appropriate learning opportunities. This includes ensuring that all of our young people follow an appropriate learning programme and that teaching and learning approaches are differentiated to account for their individual needs.
John ensures that all of the adults supporting our young people are aware of the outcomes identified in their Education, Health and Care Plans and are proactive in supporting the young people to make progress in all aspects of their development.
