We offer day and residential placements for young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

We work with young people who have been affected by social and emotional challenges.  There is a strong sense of community at Wings Cumbria where all young people feel safe and nurtured so they can achieve their potential. The school balances a traditional curriculum with ensuring that the individual needs of each child and young person are met.

The school is set within extensive grounds, both the grounds and the school buildings lend themselves to both on and off-site learning. Facilities include full sized playing pitches, a sports hall, moto-cross & mountain bike tracks and our on-site farm with access to equestrian facilities, to name but a few. The outdoor learning enables those children and young people who find working in a classroom difficult the opportinity to re-engage in their education and the school community.

Our specialist staff work closely with an experienced clinical team to provide the best assessment, interventions and care for each and every child. There are specific therapeutic pathways which your child/young person would have access, to which you can read more about below.
