Wings Cumbria welcomed Kendal Green Watch for a fire safety morning. Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service sees schools as one of the key settings within which to promote the health of young people and the wider community.  The knowledge, skills and attitudes that we learn at school stay with us for life.  Schools can be the springboard for long term health and safety and education is a vital element of their strategy.

Green watch delivered a child focused fire safety presentation that all our young people attended.  The fun followed next with staff and young people trying out the water hoses, helmets, sounding the sirens and turning the blue lights on.
