Our specialist residential schools offer education, care and therapeutic support and are based in stunning rural locations across England.
We are one of the leading specialist care providers with locations throughout the UK.
All children are different and they all have different needs. There is no “one-size” fits all solution. Our specialist residential schools help young people to thrive, flourish and reach their full potential.
We support young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism (ASC) and specific learning difficulties which may affect their behaviour.
We understand that we are the start of their journey and we can help build foundations for the future. We look at the needs of each individual young person and find the most appropriate educational and residential option for them.
We have a range of specialist residential schools across the country, click on any of the schools below to find out more about what's on offer.

Wings School Cumbria offers a caring and nurturing community setting and works with children who have been affected by social and emotional challenges.
Matthew came to Wings School Cumbria in 2017 when he was 12 years old. This was following the breakdown of his foster placement due to aggressive and controlling behaviours, extreme outbursts and refusal to attend school.
Matthew found it very difficult to cope with changes in his daily routine and could present as confused and extremely anxious.
The Education, Care and Clinical Teams at Wings Cumbria supported Matthew with a consistent routine and provided him with a stable framework of boundaries, enthusiastic and unwavering support and positivity. Instilling in him, that he could achieve whatever he wanted to.
Matthew has excelled academically and invested in both the GCSE offer and outdoor learning programme, achieving 7 GCSEs and giving him the opportunity to go to a local college to study A-Levels in History, Psychology and Philosophy. Matthew’s predicted grades will guarantee his place at his chosen University, as his continues his academic journey.
Throughout his time at Wings, Matthew has been encouraged and supported to develop both his interests and his independence; giving him the confidence to complete his A-Levels and begin the transition to his new foster placement within the local community.
Matthew's achievements are a credit to him, and we are immensely proud of his hard work and success.

"Whilst I have only been to the Wings site once, to have introductions with my young person and staff, I was impressed with the knowledge, organisation and care provided to the Children and young people living and learning with you."
