We are recruiting a Group Talent & Engagement Adviser for an initial period of 6 months with the possibility of the position becoming a permanent role.

About the role:

As Group Talent & Engagement Adviser at Kedleston Group, you will be home-based with occasional travel to attend our schools and children’s homes, networking, recruitment events and meetings.  You will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. This a new role reporting to the Group Talent, Data & Engagement Business Partner, and is responsible for recruiting the best people to work in our schools, children’s homes and corporate support teams; people from all sections of the community who share our values and have a vocation for providing the best possible education and care to children and young people with social and emotional mental health needs (SEMH), autism (ASC) and specific learning difficulties. 

Additionally, you will support with the delivery of regular and effective internal communications which sustain a culture of care, value and respect and maximise engagement levels across the Group. You will support colleagues across the Group to have a voice through our staff engagement forums and annual staff survey, analysing staff feedback to make recommendations for change which will impact positively on morale, wellbeing, retention and productivity.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who has successful experience as a recruiter, ideally within education and/or social care for children with special needs. You will be experienced in designing and delivering impactful, inclusive and effective recruitment campaigns using a broad variety of resourcing channels, mediums and methods, both active and passive. With exceptional communication skills, you will be comfortable communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to maximise engagement with our organisation as an employer of choice in our sector. You will be highly organised as well as familiar and confident with data and market analysis techniques needed to ensure we attract and retain people who share our values and commitment to developing confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions.

About us:

Kedleston Group offer residential schooling, day schools and children's homes across England. Our schools and homes support children and young people living with social, emotional and mental health problems (SEMH) and specific learning difficulties, which affects their learning and ability to do everyday things. Our dedicated autism (ASC) schools work with young people who are high functioning and have associated needs such as mental health problems, attention deficit hyperactive disorder and learning difficulties.
