We are recruiting a HR Business Partner to cover a temporary secondment in our team which is expected to last for 6 months, possibly extended to 12 months. The role will commence as soon as possible and will be responsible for providing HR advice, guidance and support to a number of schools and children’s homes.

About the role:

As Group HR Business Partner at Kedleston Group, you will be home-based with travel to our schools and children’s homes in the London, East Midlands, Surrey and Colchester. You will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will be responsible for providing HR advice, guidance and support to a number of schools and children’s homes, you will partner Principals, Head Teachers, Registered Managers to create and deliver HR, Resourcing and OD plans which support the successful achievement of business objectives. coach people managers and advise on a range of ER interventions and casework to ensure successful resolution, ensure compliance with employment legislation, Independent School Standards, Ofsted regulations and requirements, Group policies and procedures, overseeing the HR auditing process across your client areas.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for an experienced, credible HR professional who is familiar with partnering stakeholders on generalist HR, OD and Recruitment queries and activity, using your expertise and influence to shape the people agenda and culture within the settings you service. Ideally, you will have experience of working within HR/Recruitment in education and/or social care.

You will be an expert in advising and coaching managers to develop their knowledge, confidence and capability in managing people related matters ensuring a balanced approach to risk and reputation at all times and able and willing to travel to meet your client groups regularly and independently to develop positive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and familiarise yourself with each setting’s business plan and objectives. You will demonstrate a solid awareness and understanding of the nature of our sector and client needs and any statutory requirements and regulations.

Our schools and homes support children and young people living with social, emotional and mental health problems (SEMH) and specific learning difficulties, which affects their learning and ability to do everyday things.
