This role is working 14 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday 17:30 – 21:00) 39 weeks per year during school term time and INSET plus 6 weeks holiday to be taken during school closure periods.

About the role:

As a School Cleaner at Wings School Cumbria, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will be cleaning to a high standard for our children and young people and storing all cleaning materials safely at the end of the duty period in the appropriate storage facility

About you:

Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a school and has a passion for cleaning. You will be a hardworking individual with a flexible can-do attitude and have an organised approach. You will have a good eye for detail, as you will be reporting damage, faults and repairs to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Above all, we are looking for someone who wants to make a difference to our young people’s lives and by presenting their school in the best possible way.

About us:

Wings School Cumbria, part of Kedleston Group Limited, is an independent specialist residential and day school in Milnthorpe for children and young people aged between the ages of 9 and 17. We support and care for children and young people who have identified social, emotional and mental health needs. They may also have learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum disorders including Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, moderate learning difficulties and other specific learning difficulties.
