About the role:

As Art and Digital Design Teacher at Wings Notts School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a dynamic teacher who can bring a contemporary interpretation to the development and delivery of the schools technological, aesthetic and creative curriculum. The Creative and Digital Arts Teacher will be central to the creation of this curriculum which seeks to pull some of the more traditional aspects of art into the contemporary, culturally diverse, technological world.  Using digital and virtual technology alongside more traditional techniques you will have the skills to develop a whole school curriculum that meets the Independent School Standards to teach knowledge skills and understanding in the areas of technology, aesthetics and creativity.  You will set out schemes of work to facilitate delivery of the curriculum from Key Stage 2, leading to accredited awards for a range of abilities at Key Stage 4.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who holds QTS, and ideally you will have experience of working with children with SEMH and ASC. With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective primary/secondary teaching, which engages and motivates young people, you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people.
