About the role:
As Care Manager at Wings School Notts, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will ensure effective management of the residential community when on duty, which consists of six children’s homes located on site, each staffed by its own team consisting of a House Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Care Worker, Childcare Workers and Night Care Workers, such that the homes are organised, managed and staffed in a manner that delivers the best possible child care. You will be establishing and monitoring high quality standards of care in line with National Minimum Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations, and you will develop quality assurance measures and ensure these standards are maintained and you will support and maintain a competent, motivated and confident staff team and offer leadership, managerial direction, guidance and support to staff at all levels, ensuring care staff are appropriately supervised and hold supervision meetings with House Managers and other designated staff, when appropriate.
About you:
For this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a children’s home setting, is passionate about supporting young people, has management experience and holds a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
