Teacher of Physical Education

This role is suitable for qualified and newly qualified teachers.

Olsen House School is looking to recruit an inspirational, highly motivated Teacher of PE at KS3 and 4.  If you are passionate about improving the life chances of wonderful young people who are among the most disadvantaged in society, then we are interested in you. 

Olsen House is an Independent Special School, providing exceptional education to pupils with additional SEMH needs, many of whom are on the autism spectrum.  We are part of the Kedleston Group and are committed to help our young people thrive, flourish and reach their academic and personal potential.

The successful candidate will:

  • have a pupil centred view of education
  • have the highest expectations of themselves, their colleagues and their pupils
  • be an excellent classroom practitioner
  • be able to teach mathematics, following the National Curriculum at KS3 and appropriate accreditation pathways at KS4
  • have a flexible approach
