At Kedleston Group, our vision is simple, every provision we operate will be recognised as ‘outstanding’ in every way.
We will never be the biggest, but we will lead, and others will follow.
About the role:
As an IT Field Technician at Kedleston Group, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. This opportunity is to join our team of IT support staff, providing support to schools and children’s homes in the Southern region and occasionally beyond. You will be based at home and/or in our offices in Uxbridge. The role will require regular travel to our settings in Sutton, Surrey, Hackney, Enfield and Southam so owning a car and having a driving license is essential.
About you:
For this role, we are looking for someone who has 6-12 months experience in a support IT environment and ideally will hold an industry recognised or relevant qualification. If you have worked in schools or education provisions previously, this would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. You will be able to work to a relatively high degree of autonomy, manage your own workload and liaise with our settings daily to help fix, assist, and solve computer related issues. You will be supported by the IT Manager and be required to escalate issues when needed, whilst maintaining an approachable, easy-going demeanour and a positive, hard-working attitude.
