About the role:

About you:

Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a SEN setting, a passion for supporting young people to learn and develop but more importantly, someone who wants to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people.

You will be working with a delightful, friendly, and talkative Year 8 female pupil who has a diagnosis of autism and undergoing assessment for ADHD. She has a heightened state of anxiety that leads to traits of PDA.

You will need to be resilient and enforce strict boundaries and consistency at all times. This young person is motivated by curiosity and loves practical subjects such as cooking, PE, and outdoor education.

Why work for us?

  • long service and employee of the month awards
  • employee assistance and counselling service, wellbeing support and advice
  • optional flu jab
