At our Wings Notts School, Stanley and Mabel are a very much loved and cherished part of the setting, and they are there to support all of the children and young people.

Stanley and Mabel provide a positive distraction from negative thoughts or anxiety, they provide physical contact and companionship, and they can increase self-esteem and offer a feeling of belonging.

The dogs also support the children in managing stress, alleviating worry and also reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
