What is good about Mill Bury School?

Welcome to a place where you can feel safe and where you will be heard and valued.

We will work alongside you to help you achieve success. The staff are friendly and look forward to finding out what interests you and how you like to learn.

We like to celebrate success as well as support you to make choices which will help you as you journey on to adulthood. We will work with you to make a personal timetable which fits your personal learning needs.

You can study for a wide range of qualifications including vocational (job training) functional skills, GCSE’s and BTECs. We don’t always learn in the classroom at Mill School Bury, there are lots of offsite learning opportunities and the school has lots of outdoor space for sports, play, horticulture and relaxing.

There are also rooms at Mill School Bury which use great technology or state-of-the-art facilities to help support you. These include a rebound room which has a special trampoline, an immersive reality room which uses virtual reality technology and multi-sensory equipment.

All of our classrooms are specially designed to be quiet and peaceful. All of our classes are small and have sanctuary room attached to them. If you are feeling vulnerable and need to re-regulate your feeling you can take yourself to your space.  Some of there rooms have tents, swings and soft sensory furnishing.

We can't wait to meet you!
