Welcome to Dovedale House – we provide a safe and caring home environment for boys and girls aged between nine and 17 years who may experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The nurturing home is part of a family-focused community in Buxton, Derbyshire.
Our specialist model is designed to provide a unique, integrated approach to care, education, health and mental health while children are supported in a welcoming and nurturing environment.
Dovedale House is a home where children are helped to build resilience and where social inclusion is promoted; children are supported to be active in the local community and to enjoy and engage with educational and vocational activities. Our aim is to promote independence as well as supporting children in their rehabilitation and recovery.
