Staff at Dovedale House

The team at Dovedale have been chosen because they have the experience, skills and values required to work effectively with vulnerable children and young people. The team places the needs of the children, and improving their life-long outcomes, at the heart of everything they do. 

Our staff team undertake specialist training so they can support children’s complex needs and mental health. The home works with a team of clinicians which includes a Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist, Occupational Therapist and a Speech and Language Therapist.

I have worked within the health and social care sector for around 25 years in a variety of settings. My passion lies with working with children and young people and empowering them to aspire to be the best version of themselves that they can be.

I have previously managed a provision providing care and support to adults with learning difficulties, acquiring my Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care before deciding upon a career change to work with children and young people.
