The young people at Dovedale can choose to take part in lots of different sorts of activities. They might be informal activities like meeting a friend, or they might be planned activities like being part of a sports team or going to the cinema. There might also be group activities that more than one person living at Dovedale might take part in, either at the home or out and about. Young people help plan the activities they want to take part in.

Some of the sorts of activities include going swimming, hiking, to the cinema, bowling, visiting local parks, ice skating, playing football and other sports, enjoying meals and the opportunity to be involved in local groups. There’s bike riding, shopping, learning new skills, beauty and spa treatments, parks and playgrounds. Young people can also take part in hobbies and interests they may have such as dancing, gymnastics, singing, music, model making, horse riding, fishing and many more.
