Chris took over the role of Registered Manager at Heysham House on the 17th February 2020. He gained his managerial experience in the mental health sector during which time he completed his Diploma Level 3 and Diploma Level 5 in Management and Leadership in health and social care after working my way up from support worker. He decided to move into the child care sector as he felt that a lot of his skills and experience would be transferable to this environment.
Beth has worked at Heysham House since February 2016 where she started as a Bank Care worker. Beth has progressed through the ranks to full time care worker Team Leader and most recently Deputy Manager. Beth previously to Heysham had always worked with children aged 2-4 spending nearly 11 years at her previous Childcare setting.
Beth’s Qualifications involve Level 2 NVQ in Children’s care learning and development, Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people’s workforce Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare and currently working through Level 5 Leadership and management.
Michelle has worked for Kedleston since 2011 starting off at Wings Cumbria as Night support Worker then moving to Heysham as Team Leader In December 2015. Michelle has a level 3 NVQ in residential Childcare along with Certificates in Team teach CSE self-harm and much more.
Katie started working at Heysham house in July 2018 as a bank care worker , she has since worked in the home as a full time care worker until she recently progressed to a senior care worker. During her time at Heysham house she has completed many relevant qualifications including Level 3 NVQ in residential childcare along with qualifications in CSE , Safeguarding and Team teach .
Previously to working in the home Katie had been working as the manager of a large sports and social club in the local area as well as for a local security company which gave her many transferable skills that were useful in her transition to working with young people.
