ONE of the UK’s leading specialist education and care providers has announced the latest in its series of free webinars for professionals working in the sector.
Kedleston Group, which operates 13 day and residential schools and children’s homes across England, is continuing the Support, Protect, Change series of virtual educational events.
For the second event we will be joined by Simon Morley from Mixed Foundations.
Simon says: “I’m a Youth Practitioner and have been working with young people for over 13 years. I set Mixed Foundations up in 2012 to fill a need within the youth justice and care system. We have a proven track record of engaging some of the most ambivalent inner-city youth, empowering and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes.
I'm very passionate about supporting these young people in our communities. My speciality is working with individuals who are involved in gang culture, county lines and serious youth violence.
As a person who was born into the care system and ended up going down the route of organised crime, I have now turned my life around and use some of my past experiences, knowledge and skill set to equip young people with the tools for positive change.
With this Webinar I will take people through a personal journey of life transformation and deliver a presentation on Mixed Foundations to showcase the work we do with young people up and down the country.”
Join us to explore how we can make a difference.
The webinar will be held on Thursday 22nd April at 10am. The event is strictly for professionals working in the specialist education and care sector. It is the second of three events. Further details and booking links are below.
