Christmas Jumper Day is an annual charity event it is held on December 13th, with 100% of proceeds going to the charity ‘Save the Children’.
This year Wings Cumbria took part and everyone dressed up in their best Christmas Jumpers for the day in order to join in, raise money and show support for this fantastic cause.
Wing School Cumbria is an independent specialist residential and day provider for boys and girls, who are aged 9 - 17. All the children and young people have identified social, emotional and mental health difficulties. They may also have learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum disorders including Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, moderate learning difficulties and other specific learning difficulties.
After all the hard work that has gone into this term from all the staff and the children and young people the countdown to the Christmas break is now definitely on. Well done to everyone took part and Merry Christmas!
