The young people who live at our Wings School Notts participated in a clay making activity this weekend. They were able to make anything they liked, some made mother’s day gifts and others made Disney characters. It was a great way for the young people be creative and build positive relationships.
Working with your hands, particularly with a medium such as clay has a wide range of benefits for children and young people such as; improving motor skills, improving sensory development, improving self-esteem and learning to solve problems in a safe setting.
