About the role:

As a School Site Manager at Leaways School, part of Kedleston Group, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance, Health and Safety, upkeep and repairs of the school and grounds and ensure that repairs and maintenance are carried out to the highest standard and that the facilities and the environment of the school are safe and comfortable for the children, staff and visitors. You will assist in the monitoring and testing of building systems to ensure the school meets its legal obligations under regulatory compliance.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who has hands on experience in a maintenance role or similar, ideally within an SEN setting, although not essential. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. About us:

Leaways School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Clapton, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. Our school provides a safe learning environment for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties including autism and an EHC Plan. We also have a separate specialist area to support young people on the autistic spectrum (ASC) and a Primary unit taking children from 7 years old.  We aim to offer as close to a mainstream experience as possible but provide the additional care and support needed around each young person to enable them to thrive. We look for people to join our staff team who have the creativity and enthusiasm needed to deliver the best outcomes for the children and young people.
