About the role:

As a Site Officer at Mill School Bury, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance, Health and Safety, upkeep and repairs of the school and grounds and ensure that repairs and maintenance are carried out to the highest standard and that the facilities and the environment of the school are safe and comfortable for the children, staff and visitors. You will assist in the monitoring and testing of building systems to ensure the school meets its legal obligations under regulatory compliance.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who has hands on experience in a maintenance role or similar, ideally within an SEN setting, although not essential. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. We would love to hear from you if you share our passion and commitment to developing confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions.

About us:

Mill School Bury, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Greater Manchester, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. Our purpose built state-of-the-art school provides a safe learning environment for those with social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and those living with autism (ASC), who also face other challenges such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and attachment disorder (AD).
