About the role:
As an Accounts Assistant at Kedleston Group, you will be based at our offices in Brook Business Centre, Uxbridge. You will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. This is an all-round role supporting the team in looking after every aspect of the financial recording and reporting for a selection of schools and homes all the way from transactional entries up to assisting with Management Accounts preparation. You will be responsible for the maintenance of purchase ledger: including posting invoices, obtaining appropriate authorisations and raising payments. You will raise fee invoices, posting receipts and handling queries, preparing and setting up payments such as HMRC payments, recording and reconciling petty cash and credit card transactions and maintaining fixed asset registers. The role also encompasses processing payroll.
For this role, we are looking for someone who is a reliable, enthusiastic, strong teamworker who has previous experience in an accounts office. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or close to completing AAT qualification or equivalent and a knowledge of Sage 200 and Sage Line 50 Payroll or similar accounting/payroll software is desirable. You will have good organisational and administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
