About the role:
As an Administration Assistant at High Peak School you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will be a point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries and take messages where appropriate, ensure school security arrangements are always complied with, including the issue of visitor’s badges and signing of the visitor’s book, accept and sign for deliveries as appropriate, assist with the monitoring and maintenance of stock and order supplies, provide general clerical support, and undertake filing and photocopying.
Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role, within a school setting. You will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, you will be able to work under pressure, be a hardworking individual with a great eye for detail, an excellent telephone manner, a flexible can-do attitude and have an organised approach. High Peak School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist residential primary and secondary education setting in Disley near Stockport for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16. We support and care for children with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, individuals on the autism spectrum and young people with ADHD, dyspraxia and dyslexia.
