About the role:

As the ICT Lead at Mill School Bury, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess, and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of teaching IT/Computing to a range of age ranges, who holds QTS or QTLS, and has worked with children with SEND and ASC. With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective classroom teaching in an autism-friendly way, which engages and motivates young people you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. We would love to hear from you if you share our passion and commitment to developing confident and capable young people by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions.

About us: 

Mill School Bury, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Greater Manchester, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. Our purpose built state-of-the-art school provides a safe learning environment for those with social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and those living with autism (ASC), who also face other challenges such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and attachment disorder (AD).
