Job Description:

This role is working 40 hours per week for 38 weeks per year during school term time and INSET plus 6 weeks holiday to be taken during school closure periods.

About the role:

As School Administrator at Brookways School, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. We are currently looking to recruit an approachable, strong administrator/school secretary who has great organisational skills, to join our team. You will ensure the administrative tasks for the school are completed and will be responsible for providing effective and efficient secretarial and clerical services for the school and the Office/Referrals Manager, whilst upholding the schools values and adhering strictly to the safe guarding policies and procedures.

About you:

Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within an education environment, although this is not essential. You be friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic. You will have strong organisational skills, a good telephone manner, the ability to multi-task, have good time keeping and be an excellent communicator.

About us:

Brookways School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in North Cheam, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16. We provide a safe learning environment for pupils living with autism (ASC), mainly Asperger’s Syndrome and higher functioning autism, who also face other challenges such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and pathological demand avoidance (PDA).
