Some young people education who come to Wood Grove may have been interrupted for a number of reasons. We ensure that those entrusted to our care access every opportunity to access and enjoy learning, experience achievement and maximise their potential.

Whilst we do not provide education on site there is a supportive structure in place which introduces children and young people back in to a learning environment in their local community in schools and colleges. We offer young people an opportunity to re-engage in education and catch up on missed learning so they have the opportunity to return to mainstream schooling or access further education, training and employment.

Young people also engage in an extensive life skills programme which continues in order that they receive support Post 16, through to semi or independent living. The staff team supports opportunities for work experience, including the development of employability skills for work placements in local voluntary organisations, retail, hospitality or catering.
