This is a very difficult and challenging time for everyone across our schools and homes, with many children at home due to current restrictions in place. However, for many of our young people schooling and general life goes on. The Key Workers at Wings School Cumbria have been busy this week on the school grounds working on a new path leading to a charcoal burners cottage they are also are building.
This development will provide an excellent new outdoor teaching and learning space for the children and young people.
Wings School Cumbria create a safe, and caring community where there is a passion for learning and mutual respect for all. Children and young people have the opportunity to develop to their full potential in preparation for their future lives.
Their children and young people have identified social, emotional and mental health difficulties. They may also have learning difficulties such as autistic spectrum disorders including Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, moderate learning difficulties and other specific learning difficulties.
Well done, keep up the good work everyone!
