Staff at High Peak

The children and young people at High Peak School are supported by the education and care teams led by the Principal.  Educational staff includes teachers, pastoral support and teaching assistants and there is also access to the school nurse, counselling and psychology.  The care team is led by the Head of Care and includes the Registered Manager along with both day and night care workers. All staff ensure the well-being of the young people at High Peak School is met and that they know they are valued and cared for.

I work for the Kedleston Group as Principal of High Peak School. I am passionate about engaging and inspiring all young people, and those who lead them, in their right to achieve and reach their full potential.

Debbie Morley

Head of Education

I am very passionate about all children having a great education and experience at school. I have been a teacher for twenty-five years and taught various subjects including Geography, French, Health and Social Care and Travel and Tourism.

Tracey Hill

Registered Manager - High Peak Children's Home

Tracey originally became Registered Manager at Wings Cumbria in November 2016, following on from an Interim Deputy Head of Care position within the Kedleston Group before moving to High Peak School Children's Home in 2020.

Laura Redhead

SENCO & Assistant Head of Education

Laura has been in post at High Peak School since 2018.  She is responsible for EHCP/PEP/CLA reviews, Interventions, ASC curriculum, KS2 curriculum, Personal, Social & Emotional Development (PSED), referrals and inductions for new pupils. She also overseas Outdoor Education and Assessment.

Adam Proctor

Middle Leader

High Peak’s Upper School Phase Leader Adam Proctor, is a Drama and Theatre specialist with experience of teaching in primary, GCSE and A-Level. Adam strives in creating lessons that encourage imagination and creativity in order to create high levels of work and positive outcomes.
