The spacious school environment is bright and welcoming with a variety of different learning spaces which include a science laboratory, specialist teaching rooms, extensive outside grounds, including a football pitch, PE and forest schools area, sensory rooms, quiet rooms, a gym and a pool room.
At our school there is a particular focus on taking learning outside the classroom into the grounds and community beyond and working in partnership with other organisations to enrich opportunities for children and young people.
Clinical support is available to all children and young people as required through Educational Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy Services who work closely with the staff team to embed specialist practice across the school.
We have a range of emotional support dogs on site to suit the range of needs of our students. Emotional support dogs are used effectively to support all children and young people throughout the day as needed. This may be as part of a reward, during times of crisis and for building trusting relationships. Would you like to meet the dogs? Click here.
