A local resident to Wings School Cumbria, Arabella (aged 4) came up with idea that she wanted show her support and thanks during the current crisis and wanted “to send sweets to doctors and nurses, so they will be happy”.
She went on to say “Sweeties make people happy and all the doctors and nurses are sad because of Corona Virus. Can we make them smile again?”
Wings School Cumbria heard about this fantastic story and were only too happy to help by donating colourful beads and thread from our Art Department so Arabella could make rainbow bracelets to sell.
Wings School Cumbria is a safe, and caring community where there is a passion for learning and mutual respect for all. Children and young people have the opportunity to develop to their full potential in preparation for their future lives.
Don’t they look beautiful, well done Arabella!
