Food Technology Instructor

Kirklington, Newark

Salary: £20,000

We are currently looking to recruit a Food Technology Instructor to provide outstanding teaching and learning of Food Technology to secure high engagement and achievement of students. To collaborate effectively with colleagues to design and deliver an engaging curriculum to inspire and enthuse children who have previously struggled with education.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, nurturing classroom and school environment that helps students to develop as learners
  • Engage and motivate students
  • Inspire trust and confidence in students, colleagues, parents and carers and other professionals
  • Consistently plan, resource, deliver and assess outstanding teaching & learning using proven methods and approaches that enable children including those with complex SEMH presentations to learn and make progress
  • Ensure that all students are given quality feedback in order to make progress
  • Contribute to the development of sound literacy & numeracy skills for all students
  • Help to maintain/establish excellent standards of behaviour for learning across the school
