Summer Fayre Raises £422 and Brings Our School Community Together

Wednesday, 5th August 2026, 13:55

Pupils, families and staff came together for our biggest Summer Fayre yet, raising more than £422 while celebrating our Year 11 leavers, welcoming new families and enjoying a day packed with fun, food and community spirit.

Our annual Summer Fayre was our biggest and most successful yet, bringing together pupils, families, staff and members of our wider community for a fantastic day of fun, celebration and fundraising.

Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who attended, we were delighted to raise an incredible £422.51. The event was a wonderful example of our school community coming together to create lasting memories while supporting opportunities for our young people.

We were pleased to welcome representatives from Sendaid and our Local Early Help Coordinator, who shared valuable information and advice with families. Their presence provided an excellent opportunity for parents and carers to learn more about the support, services and activities available to young people throughout the summer holidays.

The fayre was also a special chance to celebrate important milestones within our school community. It was wonderful to see so many of our Year 11 pupils return with their families to say their goodbyes and reflect on their time with us before moving on to their next chapter. At the same time, we were delighted to welcome new pupils and families who will be joining us in September, helping them get to know our school and become part of the community.

As always, the food proved to be a huge hit, while the karaoke kept everyone entertained throughout the day. The highlight for many, however, was the ever-popular 'Soak the Head Teacher' challenge, which once again drew plenty of laughter and eager participants.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated and helped make the event such a success. We are incredibly proud of the strong sense of community on display and look forward to building on this year's success in the future.
