With almost 1,600 qualifications achieved, including more than 350 GCSEs, this year’s Year 11 leavers across Kedleston had lots to celebrate.
In total, the group achieved 1,589 different qualifications in a breadth of academic, vocational and personal achievements. More than 90% achieved maths and English qualifications and almost three quarters leaving having achieved English, Maths and Science qualifications.
The results reflect Kedleston Group's commitment to providing personalised pathways that enable every pupil to achieve meaningful outcomes and prepare successfully for adult life.
Qualifications achieved in 2026 included GCSEs, Functional Skills, BTECs, Open Awards, ASDAN qualifications, Duke of Edinburgh Awards and a wide range of outdoor learning and vocational qualifications. GCSEs were gained across subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, German, Statistics, Art, Computer Science, Sociology, Photography and iMedia.
Alongside academic success, pupils achieved qualifications in practical and career-focused areas including catering, hospitality, food technology, health and social care, sports, construction, design, IT, computing, digital literacy, drama and personal development.
One Kedleston school reported particularly outstanding success in outdoor education, with Year 11 pupils achieving well over 100 qualifications in areas including navigation, survival, climbing, canoeing, wildlife studies and first aid.
Several schools across the Group achieved 100% success rates in key qualification measures, demonstrating exceptional outcomes for pupils with diverse and often complex needs.

The achievements of Kedleston pupils extend well beyond qualification results. This year, significant numbers of Year 11 leavers have secured places on college courses across the country, progressing to A Levels, BTECs and Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications.
Pupils will be moving on to study a diverse range of subjects including mechanical engineering, public services, aquatics and fisheries, game design, IT, graphic design, computing, economics, photography, mathematics, chemistry, culinary skills, electrical installation, plumbing and construction.
These positive destinations highlight the impact of Kedleston Group's focus on preparing young people for successful futures through a combination of academic achievement, personal development and employability skills.
