Fernways School

 As part of our Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) curriculum, Year 9 students recently took part in a community engagement trip to the local village. During the visit, students had the opportunity to develop their independence, social responsibility, and awareness of their local community through meaningful volunteering activities. They successfully collected donations for the local food bank and also donated a number of books to the local library, helping to support people within the community. We are incredibly proud of the positive attitude and kindness shown by our students throughout the trip, who were then provided with a cooling refreshment, as a thank you, from the local café!
