PUPILS at Olsen House are celebrating a bumper crop of exam results with each Year 11 leaver gaining an average of 23 qualifications.
Across the school, the Year 11 group of pupils gained an impressive 281 qualifications during their time at the school, including GCSEs, BTEC Level 1 and Level 2, Functional Skills and vocational qualifications.
Highlights included:
- 41 GCSEs achieved across Maths, English, Science and Citizenship
- BTEC award, certificate and diploma passes – including a large group of distinctions at Level 1 – in a wide range of subjects.
- Those included Applied Science, Sport, Digital Media, Vocational Studies, Home Cooking, ICT
- 100% of pupils at the school gained a qualification in Maths, English and Science
As well as academic and vocational qualifications, pupils also gained a range of additional accreditations including:
- Climbing L1 & 2
- E-safety
- ICDL - Digital Literacy
- Paddle Start
- John Muir Award
- Crest Awards
- Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme
- Asdan
This vast array of meaningful qualifications have supported pupils in taking the next positive steps in their educational journey and all have applied to attend a variety of courses at local colleges.
