NottinghamshireTherapy
Together, our therapeutic and educational teams create a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow emotionally, socially, and academically. By working in partnership with families and professionals, we ensure that every child’s unique story is understood, and their needs are met with care and compassion.
We believe therapy should be child-centred, flexible, and engaging, helping children feel safe, empowered, and ready to thrive – both now and in the future.
Occupational therapy
Helps children build independence, confidence, and everyday living skills. Through play, movement, and sensory activities, our occupational therapist supports children to overcome challenges, develop coordination, and feel more confident in school, at home, and in the wider community.
Speech and language therapy
Focuses on improving communication and interaction. Our speech and language therapist works with children to develop speech clarity, understanding of language, and social communication skills. Where needed, we explore alternative and creative ways for children to express themselves, ensuring every child’s voice is heard.
Clinical and assistant psychologists
Provide specialist support for emotional well-being, behaviour, and mental health. This includes trauma-informed care and structured programmes that help children build resilience, self-awareness, and coping strategies for life’s challenges.
Health and well-being support
Led by our registered nurse, this service offers health education, workshops, and therapeutic interventions. These include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training, Draw and Talk therapy, and psychoeducation around sleep, self-care, and resilience. We also provide unique, specialist interventions such as animal-assisted therapy with alpacas and dogs, forest therapy, and creative regulation through art and music.
