This term, our Year 11 students had the opportunity to visit a local church-run café within the community. During their visit, they met with the café manager to learn about the range of job roles available and discuss potential work experience opportunities.
Students asked thoughtful questions and were fascinated to discover how many different roles and responsibilities exist within one workplace. It was a valuable experience that helped them gain a greater understanding of the world of work.
We are incredibly proud of the way Year 11 conducted themselves throughout the visit. They represented both themselves and Fernways school with maturity, curiosity and great respect, making a positive impression on everyone they met.
