As part of Autism Awareness Month, Mapesbury School held a special assembly beautifully delivered by the Head Teacher, Mr. Adam De Vecchi. He explained what autism is, some of the challenges autistic individuals may face, and emphasised that it should never be seen as a barrier to progress or success in life.
By sharing inspiring examples of well-known personalities from around the world, he encouraged pupils to recognise and focus on their own strengths rather than feel self-conscious about differences.
The assembly was both engaging and highly informative, leaving pupils with a positive and empowering message.
