Celebrating Achievement Through Boxing

Recognising outstanding commitment to our boxing intervention programme,

As part of our end-of-year celebration, a number of pupils were recognised for their outstanding commitment to our boxing intervention programme, receiving certificates and boxing medals in recognition of their hard work, resilience, and personal development.

Led by our boxing coach, Natasha Patterson, alongside member of staff Samrai, the intervention offers pupils far more than physical exercise. Through regular training sessions, pupils develop resilience, self-discipline, emotional regulation, confidence, and self-belief, while learning the importance of respect, perseverance, and teamwork.

Throughout the programme, pupils have embraced every challenge with determination, supported one another, and demonstrated a consistently positive attitude. The awards celebrated not only their progress in boxing but also the personal qualities they have developed along the way, including commitment, courage, and the ability to respond positively to setbacks.

Our boxing intervention plays an important role in promoting pupils' wellbeing and personal development, helping them build confidence that extends beyond the gym and into the classroom and wider school community. It is another example of how we provide meaningful opportunities for pupils to grow both personally and socially.

Congratulations to every pupil who received an award. Their achievements reflect their dedication and the encouragement and expertise provided by Natasha and Samrai. We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive.
