There was lots to celebrate as the group achieved brilliant results, gaining an impressive average 12 qualifications each.
Highlights across the school included:
- An impressive 48 qualifications across the group
- 26 GCSEs gained
- GCSEs achieved in subjects including Maths, English Language, English Literature, Combined Science, Biology, History, Photography and Computer Science
- 100% of pupils achieved a Maths GCSE with grades spanning 3-7
- 100% of pupils achieved an English Language GCSE with grades ranging 4-7
- 100% of pupils achieved a GCSE in Science with grades ranging 3-7
Other qualifications gained by pupils included Level 2 Financial Education and Digital Functional Skills.
All Year 11 leavers are moving on to destinations and courses which link directly to their achievements at Silverways such as A Level Maths, A Level Accounting, A Level Economics, A Level Photography, BTECs in Film and Media and Level 1 Animal Care.
Each of the small group of young people who have been the first Year 11 group at Silverways has moved on with clear future career or education goals in mind including becoming a Veterinarian and achieving a degree in Engineering.
