Uniform Policy

At Wings School Notts, we want our students to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. After consulting with our Student Council, we carefully selected a uniform that is practical, inclusive, and sensitive to children’s sensory needs, ensuring that everyone can feel at ease throughout the school day.

We provide each student with the following items when they join the school:

Sports summer shorts
Sports joggers
Sports top
Quarter-zip sports jumper
Black rucksack
Pencil case

Families are asked to provide plain black trainers, which are suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities.

This simple and comfortable uniform helps create a sense of belonging and equality, while giving students the freedom to move, play, and learn without discomfort. By working with our young people to make this change, we’ve created a uniform that truly reflects the values and needs of our school community.
