Our Year 10 Duke of Edinburgh students have had a fantastic first day, covering over 21,000 steps and showing excellent teamwork and resilience throughout. Students took turns navigating the route so successfully that our instructor, Scottie, was inspired to add an extra section to the walk!
After setting off at 10:30am, the group reached the campsite just before 5:00pm, where they quickly pitched their tents and began cooking their evening meals. Along the way, they enjoyed beautiful scenery, spotted plenty of wildlife and overcame a number of challenges with determination and a positive attitude.
We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved today. And are ready for another exciting day of adventure tomorrow.
