We are incredibly proud of the high-quality work produced by our pupils this year, whose dedication and practical skills have been recognised through excellent BTEC and GCSE results.
Finley achieved a Merit in his BTEC Award in Construction, producing a beautifully crafted coffee table featuring accurately constructed bridle and dowel joints to a high standard.
Freddie successfully achieved a Pass after constructing two strong and well-finished frames using bridle joints, demonstrating excellent practical woodworking skills.
Itana achieved a fantastic Distinction, designing and constructing an exquisite table alongside an equally impressive portfolio that showcased both creativity and technical understanding.
A special congratulations goes to Mahad, who, after achieving a Distinction in his BTEC Award in Construction last year, went on to produce exceptional work for his GCSE Design & Technology coursework. His innovative project, a multifunctional children's play area for a restaurant that also transforms into a movable coffee table, earned him an outstanding grade. His work is now proudly displayed at the Green Area Café in Walthamstow, and in September he will begin studying Engineering at Waltham Forest College.
These achievements are a testament to our pupils' creativity, perseverance, and craftsmanship. We are incredibly proud of all of our talented makers.
